UMC Navigator

UMC Company offers you UMC Navigator, a unique motor navigation and control system.
This service is provided in partnership with the "Sattrans Navigator".
UMC Navigator allows you – without leaving your office - to get location updates of your motor vehicles moving within UMC coverage zone, coverage areas of our roaming partners or in the network of cellular operator "Sattrans Navigator".
Using the UMC Navigator you may:

Control motor vehicles.
Reduce the probability of situations when motor vehicles are not used for business purposes.
Track the location of a motor vehicle in a real-time mode, on the territory of Ukraine and in the areas serviced by roaming partners of UMC.
Contribute to timely cargo deliveries.
Navigate your transport distantly – switch on/switch off devices, motor engine, etc.
Reduce the probability of car hi-jacking.
Optimize your costs and routes.
Lower costs associated with the use of motor transportation.

How Does UMC Navigator Work?
You are required to install special equipment in your car and computer software at a Dispatcher Center.
By the satellite signal, in-car equipment identifies a car location and forwards location details to a Dispatcher Center, by means of SMS or GSM-Data Transfer.
Dispatcher Center gets car location details and reflects them on the area map of a computer screen.
Using this tool, a Dispatcher Center may efficiently manage motor vehicles of your Company.
How to Set Up Motor Navigation System?
Contact VIP Client Department.
Sign a service agreement on UMC Navigator with UMC and "Sattrans Navigator".
Install the necessary equipment on your motor vehicles and computer software to set a Dispatcher Center in your office.
Undergo free-of-charge training on the use of a Dispatcher Center.
Service Rates of UMC Navigator:
Service rates 2005;

Monthly service charge is UAH 80.00 per SIM-map used for UMC Navigator service.
The fee per SMS message is 0.24 UAH.
The fee per one minute of real-time navigation control, via GSM- Data Transfer is UAH 0.27.
The remaining services are charged at the rates identical to UMC Base.

All prices are set in UAH, incl. VAT, as of Apr15, 2005.
